Dumplings are a versatile dish, because, depending on the stuffing, it can be as basic snack and sweet dessert. We suggest a simple recipe for dumplings with seasonal stuffing — with cabbage and mushrooms.
How to prepare:
We bring water to a boil, remove from heat, add salt, butter and half of the flour. Quickly mix, trying to break up all clumps.
When the mixture has cooled slightly, pour in several steps remaining flour and knead the homogeneous, cool, but elastic dough. Roll out dough sausage, divide into two parts and in turn cut into slices. Each piece of dough is rolled into a thin cake. Spread a teaspoon of stuffing and zaschipyvaem edge.
Boil in boiling water for 4-5 minutes. When serving sprinkle with dumplings fried onions and pour the oil in which it is roasted.
