I have been going to try to decorate a cake from sugar pastes of marshmallow, I thought it was too time-consuming process, but I finally matured. The case is not very fast, but it’s worth it.
Souffle marshmallow — 200 g
butter — 2 tablespoons
Powdered sugar — 300 — 400 g
1. We spread the marshmallow and butter in a bowl, and send in the microwave for 15 — 20 seconds in the oven or in a water bath.
2. I did paste in a water bath as a microwave oven I have not. Gradually marshmallows begin to melt and increase in volume, at which point it begin to stir.
3. After about ten minutes the souffle is completely separated. Now the resulting mass is poured into 250 g of powdered sugar and stir. Add a little icing sugar until the mixture begins to resemble clay. It must be plastic and do not stick to your hands. Now, the mastic can be divided into the required number of parts, and colored with dyes. Mastic can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks, tightly wrapped in plastic wrap, freezer, tightly wrapped in cellophane and its foil up to 6 months, and finished figures can be stored in a sealed box in a dry place for several months.
