Another recipe of jam, which Nina has shared on his blog. The color of the jam depends on the color of plums that you use, if you take the blue — the jam is rich chestnut color, if you take the yellow, the jam will turn amber, and if you take the red, like me, the color of the jam will be the same as in the photo, orange — brown :). The ingredients I took 3 times longer than indicated in the recipe, but vanilla pod, I only use one. In the finished jam vanilla I felt very clearly, so good that I took only 1 pod.
Plum — 500g
Nectarines — 500 g
Sugar — 750 g
Vanilla pod — 1
1. Plums, nectarines mine. Pour boiling water plums and nectarines, after making cuts.
2. Cleans, cut the plums in half and take out the bone. Halved plums cut into slices. Nectarines cleanse, cut in half, remove the pit and cut into slices.
3. We shift all the fruit in a pan, fill with sugar, vanilla bean cut in half, and with the seed we add to the pot.
4. Subject to infuse for 4 — 5 hours. Then put the pot on a small fire and, stirring occasionally, bring to a boil. Cnimaem jam from heat, cover with a lid and leave for 12 hours. Then, take out the vanilla pods and grind the mixture in a blender. Again we bring the jam to a boil and poured into sterilized jars. Give the jam to cool completely.
