Today I want to share with you a delicious cake, which I fell in love and decided to Lviv necessarily cook at home. The only difference was the use of black cherry, cherry and not because I did not find it for sale nearby with cherry woulda just perfect! So it is highly recommend to use a cherry, you can even frozen, it must be pre-thaw and discard in a sieve to glass liquid. This cake will be a real pleasure for the sweet tooth:).
100 g butter (melted in a water bath)
100 g sour cream
120 g sugar
0,5 teaspoons soda
1,5 cups flour
250 ml milk
2 egg yolks
3 tablespoons sugar
40 g flour
vanilla — to taste
400 g cherries, pitted
The sugar and vanilla — to taste
1 cup of water
1,5 tablespoons of starch
100 g sugar
1. To prepare the dough, mix the butter with the sugar and cream. Add the baking soda and flour, mix well, spread in the form of the laid baking paper and form bumpers.
2. To prepare the cream, beat the egg yolks with the sugar until a white mass, add the flour and stir. Milk bring to the boil and pour in a thin stream to the egg mass, whisking whisk. Then put the mixture on low heat and bring to a thickened, stirring constantly, remove from heat and allowed to cool. Cherry mix with water in a saucepan, add sugar and vanilla and bring to a boil. Starch is mixed with 20 ml of water and pour in a cherry, cook until thick and allowed to cool.
3. To prepare the meringue, beat egg whites with a pinch of salt in a lush foam, add the sugar and beat until thick, stable peaks. Put the dough on the custard on a cherry cake, and send in a preheated 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
4. Then spread on a layer of meringue cake and send it in the oven for another 20 minutes.
