Beetroot salad with oranges

Ingredients

  • Beet — 675 g
  • Orange — 1 piece
  • Orange water — 2 tbsp.
  • Sugar — 2 tbsp.
  • Cinnamon (ground) — 1 tsp.
  • salt
  • Pepper (ground black)

  • Description

    Cut boiled beets into quarters, then cut into slices. Arrange beets on a plate with slices of orange and mix in a bowl.

    On a slow fire heat orange water with sugar, add the cinnamon and season to taste.

    Pour salad dressing and refrigerate both at least 1 hour before feeding.

    Note

    When boiled raw beets, always leave the peel and cut the leaves only. Beet cooked in water or steamed at reflux for 1-2 hours depending on the size. Small beets cooked for about 1 hour.
