Fried prawns with ginger

Ingredients

  • Shrimp (large unfrozen) — 12 pcs
  • Garlic — 2 cloves
  • Basil (Thai) — 1 bunch
  • Ginger (root) — 1 pc
  • Olive oil — 3 tbsp.
  • Lemon juice — 0.5 pc
  • Salt sea food — 2 tbsp .l.
  • pepper (freshly ground)

  • Description

    Clean the shrimp. Fill them with salt and leave for 30 minutes then rinse with cold water, fold in a colander and pat with paper towels.

    Basil leaves detach from the stems, rinse and dry. Peel the garlic and ginger, grate. Heat a wok over high heat, pour the oil. When the oil is heated, fry ginger, garlic and shrimp (do this in two or three steps, if your small wok: shrimp should be closely).

    Leave to heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly, then squeeze the lemon juice and cook for another 2 minutes. Add the basil leaves. As soon as the leaves change color, remove the wok from the heat and serve immediately.
