Fast jam of red grapefruit with fresh mint

Ingredients

  • Grapefruit (red) — 2 pcs
  • Sugar — 200 g
  • mint (or melissa) — a few sprigs
  • pepper (pink, green peas) — 1/2 tsp.

    250 g jam

    Wash grapefruit, with a sharp knife, remove a little zest (half teaspoon). Then clean them, separating the flesh from the walls-white films, and divide each slice into 3 pieces (about the size of a teaspoon).

    Add the 300 pieces of flesh in a glass pan (diameter 20 cm) for microwave oven. Add sugar and bits of peel, stir and put in the microwave. Cook 13-14 minutes, depending on how you prefer a liquid consistency.

    Pour the hot jam into a jar, add pink pepper berries, which accentuate its color and shade the taste pleasant note mild spices. Garnish with a sprig of mint or lemon balm, lowering its banks along the wall to about the middle. Keep in refrigerator jam, since it contains little sugar.
