Rhubarb soup with strawberries

Ingredients

  • Rhubarb — 600 g
  • Strawberry — 500 g
  • Orange — 1 piece
  • Sugar — 200 g
  • Cinnamon — 1 stick
  • Vanilla — 1 pod
  • Nutmeg — 1 pinch
  • Features

  • Description

    Cut the zest from the orange and squeeze the juice out of it, cut into two halves. Pour into the pan with non-stick coated with sugar, add the juice and chopped orange zest, cinnamon, crushed along the vanilla pod and nutmeg. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.

    Clean the rhubarb and cut into pieces 3 cm wide. Wash strawberries, remove tails and cut into 2 or 4 parts depending on the size. Put both in the pan with melted sugar and simmer 20 minutes, stirring regularly.
