Puff tabs with nuts

This is probably the most basic recipe for sweet baked goods. If not for my husband (an ardent admirer of layered tabs), I would be unlikely to make this recipe. Although the recipe seems inconspicuous, the tabs get very tasty and crunchy, and eaten both cheeks.

Ingredients

Note

1. Each layer of dough is rolled out to a thickness of 0, 5 cm and cut into 8 flat boxes.

2. In the egg yolks add 1 teaspoon water and stir gently. The rectangles of dough spread on the laid baking paper and grease with butter a baking tray and grease yolk. Gently sprinkle them with sugar and chopped nuts. We send in a preheated 180 degree oven for 25 minutes. Serve layered tabs with jam, cream, or just tea.
