Beetroot salad with yogurt

This salad recipe — snacks, I found Natasha natapit now preparing to home. I do not like beets, but with herring, onions and potatoes in their skins, it seems to me very tasty. It is used not just boiled beets, but also pickled, which gives the salad a special taste. Serve this salad is sure to potatoes, boiled in their jackets and herring, they perfectly complement it.


Ingredients

  • Horseradish — 1 — 2 tablespoons
  • A thick yogurt — 130 g
  • Beet — 400 g
  • Red dry wine — 150ml
  • Garlic — 1 clove
  • Green onions — 70 g
  • Bay leaf — 1
  • Salt, pepper, herbs — to taste
  • To apply:
  • Herring
  • The potato, boiled in their jackets
  • Black bread
  • Instructions

  • 1. Beets bake or boil until tender and cut into cubes. Garlic is passed through the press, finely chopped green onions (white part with). In a saucepan, mix the wine, bay leaf, 2 -3 pea black pepper, a little salt and boiled marinade over medium heat half. Cooled marinade and put the onion, beets, garlic, and send in the refrigerator overnight.
  • 2. morning merge the marinade, add the yogurt, horseradish, salt and pepper (if needed). Ready salad spread on bread slices, put on top of a piece of herring and greens. Served with potatoes in their skins. Bon Appetit!
