Jam pears with poppy seeds

The recipe for this wonderful jam I found Julia La Perla. It is also possible to use peaches and apricots. This jam I am preparing for the second time, because it is very tasty, and because the first time I forgot to clean the pears from the skin and I wanted to know what it should be on prescription. In the photo preparation sliced ??pears with skin, do not pay attention to it, I just did not picture the preparation for the second time. But jam, cooked a second time, is significantly different from the first. In — the first, color, in — the second, consistency and texture — smooth and clear the jam. So now I’m exactly happy with the result, jam flies to cheer:).


Ingredients

  • Pears — 800 g
  • Mac — 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar — 200 g
  • Lemon juice
  • Note

  • 1. Pears cut into cubes, pour the lemon juice, fill with sugar and leave for 1 — 2 hours.
  • 2. Sugar should almost disappear and let pear juice. Please be pears to a boil, reduce heat and cook for 15 — 20 minutes.
  • 3. Mix the jam during cooking and remove the foam. Half of the jam grind in a blender, and the other half is left as is. Poppy seeds fry in a dry frying pan and grind in a coffee grinder. Jam once again put on the fire, add the poppy seeds and cook for 5 — 10 minutes prior to the desired thickness, stirring constantly. Ready jam is poured into sterilized jars and cover with lid.
