The recipe for the pie with wine pear and marzipan

To those who are already looking for recipes for Valentine’s Day, I tried out a new recipe for a romantic evening. This cake is simple to make, but he has a zest — is its appearance, a bit like a crown and pears, which are used in this recipe. This cake combines perfectly with a glass of hot mulled wine, checked :) By the way, mulled wine, which is used for the pears, too, you can drink, but for a romantic evening it will be enough. We strongly advise you to leave the pears in wine for the night, then they will become more pronounced spicy wine flavor and beautiful color. Our family really enjoyed the cake, it is fragrant, very tasty and beautiful :) I wish you a happy Valentine’s Day, give warmth and joy to your loved ones!

Ingredients

  • The Egg — 3
  • Marzipan — 200 g
  • Sugar — 100 g
  • The butter (room temperature) — 80 g
  • Flour — 110 g
  • Soda — 0. 5 teaspoons
  • Cinnamon — 2 sticks
  • Mulled wine for pears
  • Red dry wine — 250ml
  • Brown sugar (if dessert wine, it is necessary to reduce the amount of sugar) — 0. 5
  • Cloves — 2 pcs.
  • Cinnamon — 2 sticks
  • Pear (solid) — 5 — 6
  • Badea — 2 pcs.
  • Note

  • 1. Pears my, clean, cut in half and remove seeds. In a saucepan add up pears, cinnamon, star anise, sugar and pour wine. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes pears. Then turn off the fire, cover the pan with a lid and leave to infuse for at least 5 hours (preferably overnight).
  • 2. Pears passed on to a paper towel and give them completely dry. At this time, we prepare dough. Brown sugar, beat with butter. Continuing to whisk, add the crumbled marzipan. Continuing to whisk, add eggs one at a time. Sift the flour into the dough, baking soda and stir quickly.
  • 3. For a long time the dough is kneaded. Sides and bottom of the mold was covered with baking paper. Install the boards of pear shape, you can cut a little bit down, if they fall.
  • 4. spread the dough, flatten and send in a preheated 180 degree oven for 1 hour. If the top browns cake much, cover it with foil. Ready cake cooled, removed from the mold and serve. Bon Appetit!
