Dim Sum rice, crawfish and water chestnuts

Ingredients

  • Rice (pre-soaked for 4 hours) — 250 g
  • Crawfish (boiled and peeled) — 300 g
  • Nuts (water, canned) — 220 g
  • Ginger (grated) — 3 cm
  • Coriander
  • onion — 4 bulbs
  • Minced pork — 200 g
  • Pepper (red) — 2 pcs
  • Soy sauce — 0.5 tbsp.
  • Salt — 1 tsp.
  • corn starch (dissolved in 1.5 tablespoons water) — 1 tbsp.
  • Eggs — 1 pc
  • The sauce (sweet pepper)
  • Description

    Drain and sprinkle rice on a kitchen towel — dry. In a blender chop meat crabs, mix with minced meat. Then grind nuts in a blender and mix with ginger, coriander and onion until smooth. Add the peppers, soy sauce, salt and combine the resulting mass with meat and crawfish. Pour in the beaten egg and starch. Once again all mix well and put in the fridge for an hour. Divide the weight on the balls the size of a walnut and roll them in rice. Bed in a bamboo basket parchment, spread it on the balls and boil for a couple of 15 minutes. Sweet pepper sauce served in dim sum separately.
