Mussels sauce of red wine and chilli

Ingredients

  • Onions — 1 pc
  • Garlic — 1 clove
  • Olive oil — 1 tbsp.
  • Bulgarian pepper (marinated) — 2 slices
  • The sausage smoked (chorizo ??or salami) — 40 g
  • Chile — 1 pod
  • Red wine — 300ml
  • Tomato paste — 300 ml
  • salt

  • Description

    In a large deep frying pan fry for a few minutes in butter the onion and garlic, then cover and simmer a little bit of softness to. Remove the lid, add the peppers, sausage, chili and fry for another 1-2 minutes. Pour in the wine and let the sauce boil without a lid until the amount of the liquid is reduced by half. Add tomato paste, 150 ml of water and leave to heat for the pan for about 10 minutes. Season with salt. This sauce can be prepared in advance, and before serving warm. In a frying pan with the hot sauce, place the mussels, cover and keep a couple of minutes on the fire, shaking until the shells will not reveal. Then serve immediately.
