Vietnamese soup with beef and noodles

Ingredients

  • Rice noodles (dry) — 60 g
  • The broth (beef) — 4 stack.
  • onion (finely chopped) — 1 / 2 onion
  • Ginger (grated) — 1 tsp.
  • hoisin sauce — 2 tbsp.
  • The sauce (fish) — 1 tbsp. l.
  • pepper (black pepper) — 1/2 tsp.
  • Powder ‘five spice’ — 1/2 tsp.
  • Beans sprouts — 1 handful
  • green onions (the pen) — 1 pen
  • beef (finely chopped) — 150g
  • Lemon (juice) — 1 tbsp .
  • To decorate

  • Cilantro
  • Chile (red, fresh)

  • Description

    This is a traditional Vietnamese soup that is often served for breakfast. Boiling broth infused with spices and herbs, pour the noodles, bean sprouts, onions and finest pieces of raw beef that are cooked immediately.

    1. Soak the noodles in boiling water for 10 minutes.

    2. Pour the broth into a saucepan, add the onion, ginger, garlic, fish sauce, black pepper and five spice powder. Bring to a boil, cover and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.

    3. Drain the noodles and put an equal amount in the two plates. Divide the sprouts, onions and slices of beef on the plates. Pour boiling water and leave for 1 minute (the meat should be completely covered with broth).

    4. Serve the soup, sprinkle with lemon juice and garnished with dill and chili strips.

    Option

    Instead of meat, you can use finely chopped dense tofu or smoked salmon.

    Note

    To cut the meat is thin enough, put the meat for 30 minutes in the freezer so that it solidified and cut into very sharp knife.
