Jelly melon with ginger

Ingredients

  • Melon — 1 pc
  • Gelatin — 10 g
  • Ginger (fresh) — 200 g
  • Coconut milk — 200 ml
  • Sugar (sand) — 150 g
  • Vanilla — 1 pod
  • Features

  • Description

    Gelatin is divided into two parts: 2/3 volume dissolve in a glass with a little water, 1/3 — in the other. Ginger Peel and cut into strips. Put in a bowl with cold water. Vanilla pod broke in 2 parts. Pour into a small saucepan 0.25 liters of water and add 100 grams of sugar. Bring to a boil, add the vanilla seeds and ginger. Simmer for 15 minutes.

    Remove from the heat, add the gelatin from the first bowl and cool. Coconut milk with sugar, heat to simmer. Remove from heat and add the gelatin from the second cup.

    Melon cut into 16 slices, peel and remove the seeds. Coconut milk pour into 4 glasses. Take in the refrigerator for 1 hour, then add 4 slices of melon in each glass and pour the ginger syrup. Take in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
