Chutney of figs

Ingredients

  • Figs (ripe) — 600 g
  • Walnut (Kernel) — 12 pcs
  • Lemon — 1 pc
  • Vinegar (wine) — 100 ml
  • Sugar (brown) — 150 g
  • bay leaf — 2 pcs
  • Cinnamon — 1 stick
  • pepper (black pepper)

  • Description

    Lemon wash and cut into two longitudinal halves, each of them into slices 2 mm thick. Dip for 2 minutes in boiling water.

    Vinegar pour into a saucepan, add sugar, bay leaf, pepper, cinnamon and salt. Bring to a boil, add the lemon slices and simmer for 5 minutes, figs, cut into 4 pieces. Kernels faults on large pieces.
