Vegetable soup

Ingredients

  • Butter — 50 g
  • carrots (peeled and cut into cubes) — 2 pcs
  • Milk — 900 ml
  • Bouillon cube (vegetable) — 1 pc
  • potatoes (peeled and chopped) — 2 pcs
  • Thyme — 1 sprig
  • Corn (frozen or canned) — 225 g
  • Beans (frozen or canned) — 225 g
  • onion (finely chopped) — 1 onion
  • Parsley (fresh chopped) — 2 tbsp .l.

  • Description

    succotash — North American, indeyskoe dish with corn and beans. Initially, it was prepared to bear grease, but the modern version is made with milk or cream. This version of succotash — a wonderful and hearty soup.

    1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan and fry the onions and carrots for 3-4 minutes

    2. Add milk, bouillon cubes, potatoes, thyme, corn and beans. Cook for 10 minutes until cooked potatoes.

    3. Season to taste, pour into bowls and serve with parsley.

    Note:

    For this soup is best to use frozen vegetables, but fit and canned beans and corn.
