Turnip soup with honey

Ingredients

  • Turnip (peeled and chopped) — 4 pcs
  • Olive oil
  • Butter — 75 g
  • Laurel leaf — 1 pc
  • Honey (clear) — 2 tbsp.
  • Milk — 200 ml
  • Vegetable Broth — 500 ml
  • To decorate

  • Turnip (finely chopped) — 1/2 pc
  • Morels fresh (or dried, finely chopped) — 2 pcs
  • Features

  • Description

    As you know, everything is new — it has long forgotten past, and this soup is proof of that. You can include in the range of snacks, as it is served in small cups, and each takes much as he wants. In addition it does not necessarily serve very hot — the flavor will be much stronger if he was just warm. Make soup and chopped turnip advance and warm before serving.

    1. Fry in deep casserole turnip with olive oil and butter with salt and bay leaf until transparent. Add honey and cook 1 minute.

    2. Add the milk and broth and cook for 20 minutes until the turnip would not be soft.

    3. Discard bay leaf. Beat in the mashed potatoes, then passed through a syrup; seasoning, if necessary. Add more broth if the mixture is too thick.

    4. Fry the finely chopped half a turnip and mushrooms in butter with honey.

    5. Serve the soup in small cups or glasses with slide turnip top. Add chervil for decoration.
