Rice salad with vegetables and yogurt dressing

Ingredients

  • Rice (basmati or long-grain) — 1 stack.
  • Cucumber (long) — 1 pc
  • Zucchini — 1 pc
  • Apple (green) — 1 pc
  • red onion (finely cut) — 1 onion
  • Yoghurt (natural) — 2 packs
  • Ginger (root , grate) — 1 tsp.
  • salt — 1/2 tsp.
  • Refined vegetable oil — 1 tsp.
  • Chile ( Dried, ground) — 1/4 tsp.
  • pepper (freshly ground black) — 1/8 tsp.
  • Carrots (grate) — 1 pc

  • Description

    1. Wash the rice, pour 3 cups of water, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, uncovered, until the liquid is almost completely absorbed. Then cover and simmer until cooked rice (another 10 minutes). Transfer to a large bowl and cool place, shaking occasionally, without giving rice stick together.

    2. Wash zucchini, cucumber, apple. Peel the cucumber and zucchini, remove the core from the apples, cut into large cubes all. Finely chop and add everything together in a bowl to the rice.

    3. To prepare the filling, mix in a bowl, yogurt, ginger, salt. Add the rice, gently promeshav.

    4. In a skillet heat the nebolno vegetable oil, add dried chili powder (flakes) and fry for about 30 seconds, stirring constantly, until slightly darkened chili. Add freshly ground pepper. Remove from heat and pour sauce rice, mix gently. Try it, and if necessary, season with salt. Transfer rice salad in a bowl and top uraste grated carrot.
