Chicken, baked in cream with pumpkin

This is an unusual and very flavorful chicken recipe with pumpkin certainly shared Anya :) Estonia is ready to forgive, it turns out tasty, juicy and healthy. Annie, thank you!


Ingredients

  • Chicken — 700 g
  • The pumpkin — 600 g
  • Onions — 3
  • Garlic — 3 cloves
  • Curry — 1 teaspoons
  • Red chili pepper — 1
  • Cinnamon — 1 stick
  • Chicken soup (warm) — 600ml
  • Cream (33%) — 100 ml
  • Butter — 1 tablespoons
  • Olive oil — 3 tablespoons
  • Salt and pepper — to taste
  • Note

  • 1. Pumpkin seeds and cleaned from the skin cut into cups. Onions and garlic are finely chopped. Chili pepper cleaned from seeds and grind. In a frying pan warm up 1 tablespoons of olive oil and fry the chicken until golden brown, a little salt and pepper. Take out the chicken from the pan and remove the side and into the frying pan add the remaining olive oil and butter and fry the onion until transparent. Then add the garlic and chilli and fry for 2 minutes.
  • 2. Pour the curry and put a stick of cinnamon, simmer on low heat for a few minutes. Add the pumpkin cubes, stir.
  • 3. Return to the pan and pour in the chicken broth. Chicken should be half covered with broth. We bring the broth to a boil. We shift the entire mixture into ovenproof form and send in a preheated 200 degree oven for 25 — 30 minutes. When the broth has evaporated, you need a little mean. After baking take out the chicken and cover with foil and gravy to pour in the cream and bring to the boil. You can just send it in the oven and wait until the sauce boils. Return the chicken back into shape, and can be served. As a side dish to the chicken is best suited rice or potatoes, feeding should be watered chicken gravy.
