Pinnacle puff pastry with cherries and sour cream

Today, I went to school early and immediately rushed to prepare these towers. The recipe itself is simple, but since I was in a hurry to have time to take pictures in daylight, I completely forgot that puff pastry before baking is necessary to chop. As a result, I get high balls, which I cut in half, and some sodium. The taste is of course not affected, but the turret turned out not so nice, what should have been. I used cherries preserved in alcohol, the taste was very interesting. If you like «drunken cherry», you can add a little alcohol cherry when you cook it with sugar and cinnamon. Ingredients

  • Puff pastry — 500 g
  • Cherries — 400 g
  • The sugar — 2 tablespoons
  • Cinnamon — pinch
  • Starch — 1. 5 tablespoons
  • Gelatin — 14 g
  • Sour cream — 350 g
  • Sugar — 100 g
  • Note

  • 1. thawed puff pastry and cut out each layer following a diameter of about 8 cm. prick the dough with a fork, spread on a baking sheet greased with butter, and send in a preheated 220 degree oven for 15 minutes.
  • 2. From cherry pits remove, shift it in a pan, fill with sugar and cinnamon and bring to a boil. We reserve the cherries for 3 minutes in the syrup. Gelatin pour cold boiled water and leave to swell. Starch stir in a little water and add to the cherry. Bring to a boil, remove from heat and give a cherry cool.
  • 3. Sour cream, beat sugar, gelatin is heated to homogeneity, cool and pour a thin stream of cream, still whisking. We send a cream at 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • 4. Then, each circle of dough grease sour cream (or is deposited with pastry syringe), and in the center spread cherry. Gently cover with the second circle, again lubricates sour cream and a cherry in the center spread. Send cakes in a cool place for 20 minutes and serve.
