Cake pumpkin pancakes with chocolate - pumpkin cream

This small but delicious and unusual cake I made for the contest on the theme of Halloween stuff. Well, I can not cook biscuits in the form of skulls and witches :) So I decided to build on what is most associated with this holiday, namely — the pumpkin. The cake is easy to prepare, very fragrant and also useful. I am ready to it late at night and even though I do not like flash photography, I decided to capture a little of its cooking for you. He he certainly small, but cute and peace:)

Ingredients

  • Pumpkin pancakes (10 pieces with a diameter of 13 cm)
  • Pumpkin puree — 200g
  • Milk — 250 ml
  • Egg — 3
  • Flour — 100 g
  • Brown sugar — 4 tablespoons
  • salt — 1 pinch
  • Vegetable oil — 2 tablespoons
  • zest of half an orange
  • orange liqueur or essence — a couple of drops
  • Pumpkin-Chocolate Cream:
  • The flesh of pumpkin — 350 g
  • Dark chocolate — 150 g
  • orange zest — to taste
  • Sugar — to taste
  • Note

  • 1. To make pumpkin puree the pumpkin cut into cubes and cook for a couple of 12 minutes or bake in the oven. Let cool and grind in a blender. Mix it with the eggs, sugar, zest and milk. Sift the flour into the dough, add the salt and whisk whisk. Add the liqueur, vegetable oil, stir again and fry pancakes in a pan on both sides. It turns out about 10 pancakes with a diameter of 13 cm.
  • 2. If the pancakes turned out different shapes, they need a little cut to have the same shape. This is most conveniently done by simply folded pancakes each other. To prepare the cream, pumpkin again bake or cook for a couple. Grind in a blender, rub through a fine sieve. Then add the mashed broken into pieces and send the chocolate in a water bath to completely dissolve the chocolate.
  • 3. Let cool and lubricate the cream every pancake cream, stacking them on top of each other. Do not forget to leave a little cream cake decoration skirting. Decorate the cake with oranges, or to your liking and send in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours. I sliced ??orange and decorated before being smeared them with caramel. If you also use the candy, then be aware that it needs to cover the oranges before serving, otherwise it will thaw in the refrigerator.
